William James Knapp An Evening Serenade

An event celebrating the life and talents of William James Knapp (1843-1885), one of Cherry Hill's Black residents. This talk and musical program will feature music from William James Knapp's extensive personal collection of sheet music, which he acquired between 1865 to 1885. The collection includes popular, classical, and parlor music from the Gilded Age.
