The Maurice D. Hinchey Hudson River Valley National Heritage Area (NHA) seeks to partner with various organizations to sponsor programs and events that reinforce the NHA’s mission to interpret, preserve and celebrate the nationally significant cultural and natural resources of the Hudson River Valley. In addition to reinforcing the NHA’s mission, these cultural, heritage, and recreational events should deliver tourism and economic benefits to the communities in which they are held and encourage local and regional partnerships.
Eligibility:
- Events must occur between April 1 and December 31, 2026.
- Events must occur within the boundaries of the NHA.
- Events must exemplify a NHA theme (Nature & Culture, Freedom & Dignity, Corridor of Commerce)
- Priority consideration will be given to events that celebrate America250.
Up to $2,500 in funding available per event.
