“What’s A Yonker? Tales of Van Der Donck & the Olde Dutch” with Jonathan Kruk at Philipse Manor Hall

In honor of Dutch-American Friendship Day, master storyteller Jonathan Kruk brings to life stories of the “First American,” Adriaen Van Der Donck, and how Yonkers got its name, with guest appearances by curmudgeonly Peter “The Headstrong” Stuyvesant, haunting river spirits, and more. Audiences of all ages will enjoy Kruk’s rollicking blend of local history and lore.
