FREE Third Thursday at Olana

12-7pm: Enjoy FREE house and landscape tours at Olana State Historic Site. Learn more about Frederic Church’s artwork, explore his family home, and take in spectacular views! Tickets are FREE but must be reserved day-of. Last house entry is at 3pm; programs are until 5pm. First come first served, space is limited. Want to make a day of it? Join a FREE program. Generous support provided by Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program.

4-5:30 pm: Farmscape Ecology Walk: Join Farmscape Ecology researchers for a walk to experience Olana’s landscape from the perspective of habitats. What are they? Which plants and animals live in them? And how does Frederic Church’s landscape compare to that of the wider region? FREE, meets at the Wagon House Education Center.

6-7pm: Tunes with a View: Brasskill. Drop by for a special free performance by Brasskill, the Hudson Valley’s Party Brass Band. Listen to lively tunes as you watch the sunset and take in Olana’s famous view. Performance will take place outdoors near the Main House; check in at Olana’s Visitor Center for more information day-of.
