Ten Broeck Mansion Tours

Apr 24, 2025 to Oct 18, 2025 Location: 9 Ten Broeck Place Albany, NY 12210 Step into history at one of the Upper Hudson Valley's finest historic house museums and gardens. New feature exhibits for 2025: "Road to Revolution: Leadership 1776 and Beyond." Learn about the role the Revolution played in the lives of people at Ten Broeck Mansion and Albany County, and trace the changing leadership of the emerging United States from Revolutionary War General Abraham Ten Broeck to Abolitonist Rosanna Vosburgh. All children (to age 18) are FREE. We recommend at least one adult per child under 5. We suggest you take an additional 20-30 minutes to explore our extensive gardens on your own with self-guided tours and browse our museum shop. Jun 11, 2025 to Sep 10, 2025 Location: 9 Ten Broeck Place Albany, NY 12210 Join us for a special focus tour exploring the important stories of the enslaved and servants who lived and worked at the 1798 Ten Broeck Mansion. This tour explores the lives of the people who made life at the Ten Broeck Mansion possible, and considers their extended roles in the Albany region. Learn the stories of Susannah and her children, and of Rosanna Vosburgh, the African American abolitionist, philanthropist, and paid household manager at Ten Broeck Mansion. The tour includes a visit to the site of enslaved workers' working and living quarters on the grounds of the Ten Broeck Mansion and a discussion of historic equipment and spaces used by servants in the Mansion.
