Westmoreland Sanctuary: Meet the Animals & Nature Hike

Join Westmoreland Sanctuary for a fun afternoon learning about animals and nature. The Animal Kingdom program takes place inside the Nature Center and will have participants learn about, view and interact with a variety of different animals like insects, amphibians, reptiles and mammals. Learn about animal types, habitat, diet, conservation challenges and opportunities to help the nature in our area. Then step out into the Sanctuary for a forest ecology nature hike on the trails to talk about local habitat and the work that Westmoreland does to protect and enrich nature in our community. These programs are perfect for all ages. Feel free to call or email to RSVP and walk ins are welcome too. The program will be $10 per person, free admission ages 12 and under, and run from 11-1 PM.
