The Albany Institute of History & Art is proud to collaborate with the Stockbridge-Munsee Community Band of Mohican Indians and contemporary Mohican artist Tamara Aupaumut on an exhibition celebrating 400 years of Mohican art, history, and culture. This important exhibition will explore the rich heritage of the Mohican people, from their early days in the Hudson Valley to their present-day communities in Wisconsin and Oklahoma. Through a diverse array of objects, including paintings, sculptures, and artifacts, the exhibition will highlight the contributions of Mohican artists and their enduring legacy.
