Mappy Hour!

Mappy Hour! Sep 20, 2024 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Location: 63 Chestnut St Cold Spring NY Website: https://www.putnamhistorymuseum.org/events/mappy-hour-2/ Email: education@putnamhistorymuseum.org Phone: 8452654010

Join us at the Putnam History Museum for Mappy Hour! Enjoy drinks, small bites, and a birds-eye view of Putnam County through over 200 years of history! Mappy Hour will feature 30+ historic maps from the 1780s to mid-1950s in the PHM’s Collection, with a special focus on the Old Albany Post Road as it passes through through Putnam County. We’ll be exploring the road’s iterations as The Path, Queens Road, Kings Road, and finally the Albany Post Road—a roadway prominently featured on many maps. This event has been generously sponsored by George Whipple III, Ambassador of Putnam County, founder of Preserve Putnam, and lifelong Putnam County resident. General Admission is $25, PHM Member Admission is $20. Register here: https://www.putnamhistorymuseum.org/events/mappy-hour-2/
