On Sunday May 18 from 2-7 the Friends of Hathorn historical society present Founders' Day living history event on the grounds of the Old Stone House Inn (on the lawn), 21 Hathorn Rd., Warwick, NY. Visit the historic Gen. John Hathorn home for a fun day of exploring daily life in the late 18th century, focusing on Hathorn's Militia and the people of the area during the Revolution. This year's theme is "Loyalists & Rebels". 2-5:30 pm hands-on activities-6pm-outdoor performance "Quiet Courage" - reenactor Emma Cross of Williamsburg, VA as the Baroness von Reidesel, revisiting Warwick after marching through with Burgoyne's captured Army in December 1777, sponsored by the Albert Wisner Public Library.
