Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description A walking tour of The Point, an 1855 country estate designed by Calvert Vaux, including the main house, unused since 1963, the brick barns, and the landscape. Vaux's first solo commission after the death of his mentor, Andrew Jackson Downing, remarkably undeveloped since the Hoyt family left 63 years ago.
