Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Over the course of three days, participants will focus on developing skills of drawing, composition, and painting through keen observation of nature “en plein air” or outdoors. Under Beth’s instruction, students will broaden their knowledge of mixing color and applying paint to achieve their personal creative goals, learning to see their subjects with clarity. Participants may work in the medium of their choice and will receive demonstrations to understand composition and the relationships between color, textures, and line. Each day will conclude with a group discussion and opportunity to share experiences. Some painting experience is required for this workshop. All mediums are welcome; materials not included. Snacks and light refreshments will be provided. $575 Members/$675.
