Come join our Program Manager, Lexi Klahn, on a guided nature hike down to Constitution Marsh’s boardwalk, where you will learn more about the different birds that migrate to and through our marsh, fall-time flora and fauna that live along our trails and within our Marsh, and how climate change is impacting the Hudson Valley area.

Pre-registration is required for parking down at the nature center.

This program is completely free and for all ages! Donations are encouraged if you would like to support the amazing conservation work going on at the Marsh.

Program runs for 60 minutes but extra time has been allocated so visitors can explore the Marsh and center on their own after the guided hike.

Binoculars and guides will be provided. The trail to the boardwalk is rocky and steep in some certain locations - make sure to wear appropriate shoes for hiking this type of terrain.

Event Type Hudson River Estuary Exploration/Environmental Education Description Come join our Program Manager, Lexi Klahn, for a guided nature hike to Constitution Marsh’s boardwalk. Learn about the migrating birds that use our marsh, fall flora and fauna along the trails and within the marsh, and the local impacts of climate change on the Hudson Valley. Trail is a mile long loop with rocky terrain. Programs run for an hour with extra time for participants to explore the marsh and center on their own after the guided hike. Additional Equipment Required: Wear proper hiking shoes Participants could benefit from having trekking poles if they are worried about rocky terrain
