Detailed Times/Hours The White Glove Tour, which includes a tour of the home, barn and garden, will highlight items from Mount Gulian's collections rarely on display and seldom seen by the pubic. Allow 1.5 hours.

Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Visitors will hear about Mount Gulian’s centuries-long history that shaped our nation, including its part in the Revolutionary War as Patriot General Von Steuben’s headquarters, and the history of generations of Verplanck family members who lived here. Our truly unique White Glove Tour allows visitors to hold and examine artifacts representing 300 years of history. Under museum staff supervision, visitors will be invited to put on white, cotton, curatorial gloves before handling artifacts and documents.
