Event Type Hudson River Estuary Exploration/Environmental Education Description Join the Lower Esopus Creek Advisory Council at the Saugerties Village Beach to kick off "Esopus Day," a celebration of efforts to protect, study, and enjoy the Esopus. Learn more about historic and ongoing water quality monitoring of the creek and join a guided kayak excursion led by the Esopus Creek Conservancy, with kayaks provided by I Paddle NY. The celebration will continue upstream at Marbletown Park for an afternoon session.
