Event Type Gathering Description Join the Millbrook Silent Book Club for a quiet, companionable afternoon of reading on the grounds of Innisfree Garden. We will gather on Innisfree’s scenic overlook to enjoy books, conversation, and time in the landscape. There is no assigned reading—bring whatever you are currently reading, or borrow from a provided selection of nature-themed books. The afternoon will begin with time to arrive, have a snack, and mingle before settling in for a shared quiet reading hour. Participants are welcome to stay afterward for optional socializing or more reading. All readers are welcome, whether you prefer fiction, nonfiction, poetry, eBooks, or audiobooks. Please bring your book, eBook, audiobook, or other reading material, along with a folding chair for this outdoor gathering. Headphones are requested for anyone listening to music or an audiobook.
