Detailed Times/Hours The garden will open at 5:00 AM for the sunrise and close at 5pm. Sign up for a Curator's Tour at 10:00 AM and a Qigong/Acupressure class at 1:00 PM.

Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Innisfree’s annual Late Summer Community Day begins with the sunrise. Arrive early to see the skies brighten above the lake and to watch the garden wake up for the day. Later visitors can enjoy a variety of wellness, creative, and educational activities, including nature-themed scavenger hunts for kids that double as photography challenges for adults, a fascinating curator’s tour with Innisfree’s landscape curator Kate Kerin, and a restorative Qigong/acupressure session with exercise/movement therapist Cris Caivano. Thanks in part to a generous grant from the Northeast Dutchess Fund, a fund of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation, Innisfree is delighted to offer free admission and DISCOUNTED event tickets to residents of these Northeast Dutchess County communities and their hamlets on this day: Amenia, Clinton Corners, Dover Plains, Millbrook, Millerton, North East, Pine Plains, Pleasant Valley, Stanford, Washington, Wassaic, Wingdale. Otherwise, $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and children, Innisfree members FREE.
