Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Step back in time and experience the art of blacksmithing at Senate House State Historic Site on Saturday September 27th from 11:00am to 4:00pm. The clang of hammer on anvil will echo through the grounds as master blacksmith Alan Horowitz and Ralph Lupidus bring history to life with live blacksmithing demonstrations using traditional forging techniques. Sparks will fly as our reenactors craft tools and tell stories of their craft. This event is free, family friendly and runs rain or shine.
