Details

Event Type Walk/Hike Description Join the Hudson River Valley Greenway, the Town of Guilderland Conservation Advisory Council, and the Tree Preservation Committee for a guided hike through one of the Capital Region's most remarkable natural landscapes. This hike will explore the rich biodiversity of the Normans Kill, local indigenous heritage, local conservation efforts, and more. Whether you're interested in nature, history, or conservation, this walk offers a unique opportunity to experience Tawasentha Park through the stories that have shaped it for centuries. We will meet at the small pavilion at the bottom of the hill. Once you drive into the Park, you'll pass the pool building and main parking lot, and start descending the hill while passing a larger pavilion. Find a parking spot, and you'll see the small pavilion on the left side. Look for signs.
