Event Type Walk/Hike Description The Devil's Chimney Walk is a 4.2 mile round-trip hike through Schaghticoke's historic Vale of Peace (the site of an historic Native American village and first Schaghticoke settlement)then along the Hoosick River to a Native American shrine named Devil's Chimney. Uneven surfaces: some uneven walking in fields and some rock scrambling along Hoosick River.
Additional Equipment Required: Suggest bringing a water bottle and hiking boots.
