Event Type Fairs and Festivals Description Colonial Day will introduce the community to the events that occurred at Odell House during the American Revolution and the French American Encampment of 1781. We will present the plans for the museum to be created in Odell House and talk about the life of the family that lived in the house for 235 years. There will be re-enactors, games for children and militia drills. There will be a guided walk along the Rochambeau Ramble, led by George Washington, that leads from Odell House to Ridge Rd. Park. This is the same path travelled by George Washington and General Rochambeau during the 6 weeks from July 6 to August 18, 1781 when Rochambeau used Odell House as his headquarters.
