Event Type Hudson River Waterfront Trail Urban Open Space Description Newly opened Waterfront Trail along the Hudson River, extending south from the City of Newburgh boat launch, through 7 acres of open field to the Newburgh Rowing Club. Spectacular views, bird-watching, connect with nature! Washington's Headquarters and the Historic District are up the hill; restaurants nearby. Enjoy one of the few remaining tracts of Natural Open Space in the mid-Hudson area. The City of Newburgh Waterfront Trail Ribbon Cutting Celebration will be held on September 24th, at 12pm.
