Detailed Times/Hours Pre-registered guests meet at Historical Society of Rockland County parking lot at 10 a.m. Bus will drive to Bartow-Pell Mansion where we begin the day with a docent-led tour of the gracious 19th Century federal style mansion with stunning views of the Long Island Sound. After the tour, the group will enjoy tea in the conservatory, followed by time for free exploration of the gardens and grounds. Bus will return to the Historical Society by 4 p.m.

Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Bus trip to historic Bartow-Pell mansion: Meet at the Historical Society parking lot and board bus. The trip to the mansion will take approximately 45 minutes. Once there, we'll begin with a docent-led tour of the mansion. We will then enjoy tea in the conservatory. After tea, participants may explore the grounds and gardens for approximately one hour before returning via bus to the Historical Society. Members of the Historical Society of Rockland: $139.00 Non-members: $149.00 Fee includes transportation, admission to the house museum tour and tea in the conservatory. All participants are also welcome to view the current exhibition at the Historical Society of Rockland County.
