Event Type Walk/Hike Description The former quarries at Sylvan Glen Park Preserve supplied honey colored granite for the approaches to the George Washington and Whitestone bridges. Join Jane Daniels on a 2.5 mile hike to visit quarries and the 18-foot circumference Quarry Oak. Leader will show up regardless of weather.
