Event Type Walk/Hike Description From mid-April through December, Boscobel offers guests admission to 68 acres of our gardens and grounds, including the Frances S. Reese Woodland Trail of discovery, a tranquil mile through the forest. Boscobel’s Great Lawn overlooks its iconic view of the Hudson River, Constitution Marsh, and the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. The Apple Orchard, Formal Garden, and Herb Garden feature fruit trees and plants prized by New Yorkers then and now. And the Hudson River School Artists Garden, with sculptures by Greg Wyatt, honors 19th-century painters who celebrated this region. Organization Hosting the Event Boscobel House and Gardens

Boscobel offers guests admission to 68 acres of our gardens and grounds, which includes the Frances Stevens Reese Woodland Trail of Discovery, a tranquil mile through the forest. Adult $12 | Senior $10 | Child (5-18) $6 | Under age 5 Free | Family of four $35 | Included for members and season pass holders

Additional Information

The Woodland Trail of Discovery is fairly level, but it requires sturdy shoes and proper tick precautions. The trail itself is a loop, but there is an optional, steep stair descent down to Constitution Marsh.
Additional Equipment Required: Please bring your own water and food. Pack it in pack it out.
