Event Type Historic Site Tour/History Description Special tour of the temporary exhibit "D-Day: FDR and Churchill's "Mighty Endeavor" by President of the FDR Library and Museum, Paul Sparrow. D-Day was the Allies greatest achievement, the June 6, 1944, invasion of Normandy. Code-named Operation OVERLORD, it sealed the fate of Hitler's Nazi regime. After the tour, you will be free to explore the entire FDR Museum, spanning from the Depression to the New Deal to Pearl Harbor and World War II on your own. Movies, touch screen exhibits, and maps and artifacts bring history alive! Suitable for school age children, restless teenagers and grandparents alike. Air conditioned. Registration

$10 general admission to FDR Presidential Library and Museum. No extra charge for Special Tour by President of the Library and Museum, Paul Sparrow. Meet in the lobby of the museum (not the lobby of the visitor center, which is a separate building. One hour tour, then you will be free to explore the 15,000 square feet of exhibits on FDR, polio, the Depression, the Dust Bowl, the New Deal, Peral Harbor and World War II.
