Steepletop was Edna St. Vincent Millay's beloved home from 1925 until her death in 1950. It was here that Millay and her husband, Eugen Boissevain, created a sanctuary that became at once a place of retreat for a creative writer and a center of relaxation and entertainment for friends and relatives.
