Putnam County Land Trust
The not-for-profit Putnam County Land Trust preserves and maintains natural areas for the purpose of conservation, education and passive recreation for the public. PCLT owns 22 preserves, protecting over 700 acres of Putnam County’s natural character. Through an all-volunteer staff and responsible land stewardship, PCLT aims to foster appreciation for nature and provide fun, healthy recreational opportunities to the public. PCLT’s efforts in natural resource protection, including clean water and scenic viewsheds, benefit everyone in the Hudson Valley region.
